Rob Bosquez is a Fort Worth native, a writer, director, and actor. Rob is the creative writing/acting/improv instructor for Artes de la Rosa’s Artes Academy at the Rose Marine Cultural Center, with whom he has created over 50 productions for young audiences during the past seventeen years, including co-productions with The Fort Worth Opera, Feed by Grace, a non-profit organization that helps Fort Worth’s homeless population, Fort Worth’s Imagination Celebration, and Jubilee Theatre.

Rob currently teaches creative writing and acting for Fort Worth’s Stage West Theatre, with whom he has co-founded The Neighborhood Play Contest & The Festival of the Kid, which has produced the writings of hundreds of local students with professional directors and stage artists for the past fifteen years. Rob is the director/founder of Stage West’s in-house teen ensemble, the West Vickery Vagabonds.

Rob is the recipient of numerous awards from The Live Theatre League of Tarrant County, including The Outstanding Achievement Award for Artes de la Rosa, The Bill Garber Young Theatre Artist Award, and the Rudy Eastman Diversity Award, and has participated in and created outreach programs for Artes de la Rosa, Stage West Theatre, Hip Pocket Theatre, and Imagination Fort Worth.

Rob has had numerous short stories and poetry published in literary magazines such as The Panther City Review and his original play, The Breeze Through the Cherry Fields, was recently published by the Langdon Review.

Rob is also an award-winning filmmaker with his short film BEAUTIMOUS, which he wrote and directed, taking 2nd place at Endeavor Cinema’s Funkytown Winter Film Festival in 2016.

Claudia Acosta is an actor, director, producer, and teaching artist. She has worked in Off-Broadway theatres such as INTAR, WP Theater, New York Theater Workshop, HERE, and Rattlestick Playwright's Theater among others. Most recently, Claudia adapted and directed Mike's Soto's collection of poetry, A Grave is Given Supper for Teatro Dallas in partnership with Deep Vellum Publishing. She is a founding member of a Latino theater initiative, the Sol Project. She is a teaching artist for Lincoln Center Education, Manhattan Theater Club, NYTW, and Arts Connection. In Texas, she has worked with PAFW, FWSO, Hip Pocket Theater, Cara Mia, and the Rose Marine Theater. Claudia has a dedicated career in BIPOC arts advocacy to dismantle racism in classrooms and stages.

Lorca Simons is dedicated to the creation of physical theatre that is both interactive and transformative. She was born and raised in Texas where she grew up in her father’s experimental theatre company Hip Pocket Theatre. She is now the producing artistic director of the company. A graduate of The University of North Carolina School of the Arts theatre conservatory; educated in both experimental and traditional theatre. In New York City she blazed through productions from Off-Broadway to fringe, television and film.

Lorca followed her instincts to the unique directing vibration known as Gabrielle Roth and a 19-year creative collaboration bloomed. Lorca studied and trained with Gabrielle from the mid-’90s and became co-founder and co-director of 5RT, the experimental theatre wing of the 5Rhythms world collaborating on numerous original productions, workshops, and ritual theatre explorations.

Lorca staged and performed most recently in the ensemble of “Love Letters to a Raven” at Hip Pocket, dedicated to Gabrielle and her father Johnny Simons.

She is a certified 5Rhythms facilitator. Lorca is dedicated to exploring both the performing and visual arts awakening each individual’s unique creative potential through the vast landscape of the heart. She actively creates theatre internationally through a series of LIVE WIRE Ritual Theatre Labs: Breath in Motion, Roots, On The Verge, Electric Landscapes, Wing Span, Silhouette, and Soul Threading.

In the Zoom room, Lorca offers intimate 1:1 On-Line sessions; soulfully stripped-down poetic investigations threading story, shape & breath.

This year marks the beginning of a series of On-Line Live Wire Lab investigations titled Listening Faces: Cradling Light, Resilience, Hot Box, Gather, & Whispers of Silver.

Lorca is committed to scattering the seeds of this transformative process.

Grainger Esch, a native of Fort Worth, Texas, began his professional pursuit of laughter about three decades ago with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. As a circus clown and variety artist, he has worked throughout the USA, as well as in Mexico and Japan. He has appeared in Hollywood films such as How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and, for ten years, managed, produced, wrote, and performed at the Silver Spur Theater, a live-entertainment venue dedicated to stage comedy and vaudeville, which he co-founded in Salado, Texas. Nowadays, as a therapeutic clown at Cook Children's Medical Center, his pursuit of laughter has taken on the higher purpose of healing. When he's not at work, he enjoys building musical instruments, toys, and clown props out of repurposed materials, learning songs, and hangin' out with his dog, Pancho.
